    Profile

We are thrilled to announce a momentous enhancement to our Dreamliner International School community: the generous donation of a state-of-the-art basketball court. This magnificent addition not only enriches our sports facilities but also stands as a testament to the supportive and spirited community surrounding our school. The new court will serve as a vibrant hub for students to not only engage in basketball but also to learn the invaluable lessons of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our benefactors for their generous contribution, recognizing the profound impact it will have on our students’ physical well-being and holistic development. This donation is a leap forward in our mission to provide an enriching environment where every student has the opportunity to excel both academically and in extracurricular pursuits. Let the games begin!

AID INDIA is a non-profit organization, founded in 1996, by a group of IIT and BITS alumni who quit corporate careers to work on various development initiatives like donations.

    DUCK week at Lower School!

The multi-group recital included jolly renditions from the Lower School and Middle School choirs, the Gong Gang, Marimbas, Ukestra, and the Jazz Couriers. Our wonderful Lower School students were recently visited by three charity representatives after they raised over £1,500 for charitable causes. As part of their annual DUCK week (Developing, Understanding, Caring and Kindness), each year group decided on a different fundraising method, organising activities from discos and games, to face painting and volunteering.

    History

73% of Liberian children are denied an education; over 80% of them are girls. A girl denied an education, is a girl on the street; it’s a girl who’s exploited and condemned to underemployment. The ripple effect of this denial of her basic right is seen in the stagnation of her wages, her susceptibility to exploitation and disease, and even her children’s future education.

    Impact

Educating one girl can change everything. An extra year of primary school boosts girls’ eventual wages by 10 to 20%. An extra year of secondary school: 15 to 25%. When women and girls earn income, they reinvest 90% of it into their families. When we invest in girls, we all win. Our goal is that every girl at MTM will be able to make choice for her life.
